🌻 A Personal Update:
Hi everyone! I feel like we’re a little bit overdue for an update, and I wanted to share what’s been happening behind the scenes.
For those who may not know, I have been navigating a diagnosis and treatment for a rare form of liver cancer. I’ve been traveling to Oklahoma City for my tests and care, and I truly feel like I have been placed in the right hands and the best facilities to get well. As of right now, based on scans and bloodwork, we are headed in the right direction.
My time at home has been focused on
recuperating, resting, trying to maintain my strength and connecting with those closest to me.
🥧 The Bakery
Baking has definitely taken a backseat lately—with the exception of that one "pretty alright" Easter carrot cake! (Right, Misty Hendon? 😉)
I am missing the kitchen and all of you, so I’m hoping to start putting a few things back at the farmstand soon. It will be a slow process as my time and health allow, so please keep an eye on this page for updates.
