The dispensary building is going to be rented out and used by Jill of All Trades! Its going to be a great operation out of the building! We are going to be taking down all Sunset Medicinals signage to prevent any future confusion.
I will also continue to operate Mythic Productions from this building!

Sunset Medicinals will not be reopening. Unfortunately, its just not in the cards.

If anyone is interested in buying any of our retail displays, slatwall equipment, product cages, or the commercial fridge, please message.

We also still have T-shirts and glass available, message about those too!

OBN update:
We have to remain closed. They said we have to remain closed until the paperwork is processed.
They said their verify portal didnt update correctly, and they were about to go fix it.

Bad news update time/OBNDD update:
TLDR: we will have 50 days as a closed business to come up with thousands or we have to stay closed for good after Oct 31.

It looks like we will not be getting approved or "grandfathered" in with the COO stuff going on. We have not been able to get the required papers for our building because we are out of city limits, and the State Fire Marshall has been too busy with the amount of customers. This paperwork has also turned out to be expensive to get, in the thousands, due to my building being old and needing EVERYTHING.

There's more bad news. We are currently facing a double OMMA renewal. After three years, they finally decided NOW is when they want to start renewing me.
The state wants thousands of dollars for these renewals, and they want it in certain time frames, the first set of thousands being due in 50 days. With us being closed, we are unfortunately not going to be able to pay these license fees, therefore would lose the license.

Which unfortunately means we have 50 days as a closed business to come up with thousands of dollars, or sell the dispensary license.

Things do not look good for us. As of now, October 31 will be our last day in business. 😭😥

Unfortunately, Sunset Medicinals will be temporarily closing after 10/31/2025, for an unknown length of time.

This is due to the OBNDD(oklahoma bureau of narcotics and dangerous drugs) being slow to process paperwork, as well as changing deadlines and regulations on the industry.

We are hoping to reopen as soon as possible, but the agency doesnt seem to be in any hurry to help anyone reopen.
If this shutdown is negatively impacting you, call your state representatives and ask them to reason with OBNDD to get things in order.


We are so sorry for any inconveniences, and we really appreciate everyone and the support we have been shown!

All of that being said, please come in between now and 10/31 and help us get rid of product! Anything with ~t.h.c. left after the 31st will be destroyed by the state! We cannot post much more on that, so please come by and see us! Must have valid OMMA card for these deals.
