GA Cottage Bakery 5510719 I am a mom of 3 amazing boys, hence the name THREE BOYS BAKERY. And that started it all!

A little over two years ago, I moved back to Blackshear, GA, (my hometown), after being away for 35 years :O I moved into my parents' 150 year old home, where they had lived for 40 years. As I looked around the house, and how BIG it was, and realized that my own children would soon be flying the coop, I realized I was going to need something to occupy my time that brought me joy. I started baking up a storm, and entered one of my creations (a Peanut Butter & Jelly Cake) into a cake contest at the Farmer's Market in Eastman, GA. Low & behold, I won FIRST PLACE in that contest! I soon found myself selling cupcakes every Saturday in Eastman, and then I stumbled across the Live Events at Christi's Downsouth Living in Blackshear, GA. Before you knew, my humble little beginnings turned into a full throttle bakery. And while it's a little overwhelming at times, I am blessed and highly favored to be able to make a living at something I truly enjoy

Update on Mama (Donna Tindall) October 16, 2026

Mama has decided that it is time for her to come home and be on hospice. The last 5-7 years have been very hard on mama and her body is very tired.

She is currently getting settled in at home. She would love to see some of your smiling faces, but if you know my mama well you know she doesn’t like a crowd lol.

If you’d like to visit with mama, send me a message or a text at 770-547-9616, and I’ll let you know a good time to visit. You can also text her phone if you have her number or call her, but I can’t guarantee she will respond.

You’re also welcome to send her a card. She loves getting cards in the mail. Reach out to me and I will get you her mailing address.

As for how long my precious mama has with us, that is completely up to the good Lord. She is at peace with this decision as are we because it is what mama wants. While we love having mama around, we also want her to be pain free, at peace, and full of joy.

Continuing praying for mama and our family as we navigate this part of life 🙏🩷

Good morning, My Sweet Peeps!

I wanted to come on here this morning and give yall an update on Mama.

Many of you have had the ultimate pleasure of knowing my Mama, Donna Tindall. As you may know, she broke her right leg about month ago. After breaking her leg, she went to rehab at Harborview near the airport in waycross. Then she needed a few more weeks of rehab so she went to Bay View in Nahunta. Her first weekend at Bay View, there was some confusion regarding her medications and she ended up in the hospital for a couple of days. She then went back to Bay View and was doing great! She was getting stronger and making tremendous progress on regaining her strength and looking forward to coming home.

Unfortunately, her heart had other ideas. She was taken to the ER a couple of weeks ago with AFib and congestive heart failure. Her blood pressure and heart rate were extremely elevated so the docs decided she needed to go to the PCU to get all that stabilized.

After a few days, her heart rate plummeted and she was moved to ICU to treat her and get her heart rate back up. They were successful in getting her heart rate back up and moved her back to the PCU.

Once she was stabilized and back in the PCU, they had to take some fluid off of her lung (this had needed to happen before ICU but she wasn’t stable enough for the procedure). The procedure went well except some air got in and she got a pneumothorax so a chest tube was put in.

She is now in PCU trying to rest and recover from all the things. Her blood pressure and heart rate go up and down, but remain mostly stable. She is still having some irregularities in her heart rhythm, but she is mostly out of AFib.

If you are the praying sort, please be so kind as to add her to your daily prayers and your prayer groups. Pray for her healing and comfort. Pray for Gods guidance as we navigate this journey with her. Pray for the doctors to use discernment and wisdom in her treatment.
