Hate that we have to make this post and that this is becoming a more common occurrence - We don’t often have difficult customers but sometimes when life gives you lemons you make lemonade!
We once again had a customer NO SHOW for a custom cake, decline our calls (no voicemail set up), and give us a phony credit card so we could not even cover ingredient costs. This 10” monster of a cake is Coconut Cake, raspberry filling and raspberry frosting! We do hope that miss Claire had a wonderful birthday cake or no cake!
While we are incredibly frustrated as a small business to have this loss in revenue, especially during these turbulent times, we would like to express gratitude to our loyal customer base and offer a FREE SLICE OF CAKE to the first 20 customers when we open tomorrow Friday 06/05! We love and appreciate you all! 🍰
