World Cup has inspired our roasters to blend beans from three qualifying countries. When we get beans from Mexico, there’s an unmistakable sweetness to the coffee. The aroma of the double shot took us to a palenque (where mezcal is made). We got notes of roasted agave blended with Panama and Colombia’s beans brightening the cup, giving it dark fruit notes with some spice.

Come and get our fútbol conchas all month!

We made Masala Chai Horchata ice cream to be enjoyed with our monthly espresso. A fusion we couldn’t resist.

Mole pan dulce and a cortado. Mole pan is a special Casita pan dulce. A beautiful interpretation of a traditional mole con cacao. It’s an enriched dough layered with agave, chile pasilla, guajillo, ancho, toasted sesame seeds, garlic, unrefined cane sugar, butter, a little more ingredients and mostly cocoa.

Our espresso beans this month are a blend from Guatemala and Colombia, fermented with cashmere hops and a washed process making a surprisingly clean cup of café.

Champurrado café (with a chorizo huevo quesadilla in a maiz corn tortilla).. We chose red maiz for our champurrado café as it has delicate notes that brighten the chocolate. Champurrado is a traditional corn beverage that stems from indigenous origin. Corn in Mexico is of great significance and nutrition.

Frijoles are life at Casita. They are an intentional ingredient and not just a filler. We cook Mexican heirloom beans with herbs traditional to us. They are a great source of fiber and protein, not to mention they are absolutely delicious for adults and children.

February café y cacao. We will be brewing our first blend of Ethiopian beans from the Goji region & Ethiopian hybrids from Guatemala. Both roasts blended from washed process beans resulting in a sweet and bright espresso that makes sense in every form that you drink it.

We have single origin cacao bars & a blend from southern Mexico infused with pure mesquite honey.

Our pour over selection is honey processed beans from Guatemala.

Offering a new variety of retail beans!

New month new café.

For pour over tray, we are adding a bit of our house made agua de guayaba to the topo chico palette cleanser. On its own you’ll get notes of 100% cacao. Once you try the bubbly, you’ll taste the hibiscus and dry fruits before getting to the bottom of your cup with sweet buttery notes.

Our monthly espresso is a blend of a honey process and washed beans for those chocolate notes and a little acidity.

We have a variety of retail beans, cacao and more brews available at the shop.
