A few recent reviews mentioned our policy regarding outside food and drinks, so we wanted to take a moment to explain it.
For nearly three years, we've tried to be open and honest with our community. We've shared our successes, our challenges, and the realities of running a small family business. What we don't do is ask for reviews, pay for reviews, or offer discounts in exchange for reviews. We simply trust that our guests will share their genuine experiences.
Since moving into our new location, we have implemented a no outside food or drink policy. At our previous location, we operated in a shared space, which made this more difficult to enforce. Now that we are in our own dedicated space, we are able to establish policies that align with operating a full-service food and beverage business.
This policy is not intended to be unfriendly or inconvenient. It is based on recommendations from health authorities and the responsibilities that come with operating a licensed establishment. Additionally, as a business holding a TABC license, we cannot verify the contents of beverages brought in from outside. For the safety of our guests, our staff, and our business, we only allow food and beverages purchased and served through our creperie.
We also offer a wide variety of beverage options, including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, French sodas, juices, mimosas, and other specialty drinks. We work hard to provide choices for guests of all ages and preferences.
As with many policies, there are occasional exceptions. We understand that parents may need to bring a cup or drink for a small child, and we are always happy to use common sense and kindness when those situations arise.
We understand that not everyone will agree with every policy, and that's okay. We simply ask for understanding that these decisions are made thoughtfully and are intended to protect our customers, our employees, and the business we have worked hard to build.
Our focus remains the same as it has been from the beginning: serving great food and drinks, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and being a place where our community feels at home. We are grateful for every guest who chooses to support us, and we look forward to serving you for years to come.
