Hi ResQers..! I'm so sad to say that Mandy is STILL looking for a home :(. This makes me so sad because she's been featured since last SEPTEMBER..! This sweet girl is fantastic, and should not be spending so much time without a home. Please spread the word and help her find a family. I know she will be an amazing addition to any home, and just deserves a chance.

"My name is Mandy. I am a short legged 3 year old Mixed breed female who weighs about 42lbs, but that doesn't slow me down. I have an adorable bounce to try and keep up with my foster sisters. I was left at a shelter in Washington with another dog. I am a unique looking dog with an equally unique personality! I have been in my foster home for quite a few months working with my foster mom and K10 Academy Dog Training to get me ready for my forever family. My perfect home would be with a woman as my primary person and no kids, however men can be in the home as long as they understand I might be nervous of them for a while. I am becoming more confident around men that I have met on multiple occasions (especially if they feed me lots of treats). I am potty trained; however it might take me a couple days to get used to my new family's routine. I am also crate trained and love to have downtime in my safe space. I am a very smart girl and love to have a job or activity, however I also really enjoy low key evenings snuggling on the couch or playing fetch with my stuffies. I am a good mix of energetic and couch potato! I would never understand why I couldn't be on the couch if that is your house rule, I LOVE the couch cuddles. I do well with most dogs that can match my playfulness and are willing to share toys for fetch but probably should not share a home with them!"

My name is Squirrel. I am a 1.5 year old Male Mixed Breed who weighs around 80 pounds. I was adopted as a puppy but my adopter was not ready for an 80 pound teenager. I am FULL of energy and want nothing more than a yard to patrol and a family to spend time with. I love to go for walks (though I am strong!), I sleep well in a crate and I bond fast. I do well with other large dogs but I am quite big and wiggly so some dogs may not like me. I can be protective of "my" food and people and a home with no kids would be best. I am super smart and have already been learning how to share here! With some training, I will be a super best friend!

ResQers, I'm really sad to share that it's been MONTHS and Mandy is still looking for her fur-ever home :(. She was previously adopted, and then returned to Oregon Dog Rescue, and she's been there for so long still longing to find the best family for her.

Mandy is a fantastic dog, and unfortunately, when a dog is at a shelter for a long time, people tend to think there is "something wrong with the dog" and doesn't give it the time of day. This is very sad because Mandy doesn't deserve that, and has so much to give.

To help Mandy get adopted, I'm asking that you please share with those in your circle, and let's help Mandy get her time. As part of ResQ Bakery, I will also be GIFTING a box of baked goodies to the family that adopts Mandy, so let's help Mandy find her family!

Hi ResQ-ers! This is a unique post, but I'm hoping to help do my part to spread some awareness on this amazing dog named HENDRIX who is looking for a home.

I recently was contacted by Brooke Timmons, who asked for my help to spread awareness on Hendrix and help him find his fur-ever home.

It's a complicated story, but basically, Hendrix was originally rescued from a high kill shelter in southern CA in 2021. Brooke fostered him for several months before the rescue in SoCal found him an adopter. Unfortunately, this past August, Brooke received a call that Hendrix had been picked up by animal control in rural Alabama. After much back and forth and complications, Brooke was able to get him back to the west coast and he is now fortunately back in her care as a foster. She is looking for someone to be his new family, and will be adopting him out independently.

After all the work Brooke has gone through to help Hendrix, and after all that Hendrix has gone through (who knows what happened these past few years..!), I really hope we can help find him find a home. Please share this with anyone you know that may be looking for a dog, and together, let's help Hendrix find his future family...!

My name is Rosita and I am a 6-7 year old Female Husky mix who weighs 45lbs. I made my way from an overcrowded shelter in Ft. Worth, Texas to find my forever home here in the PNW! My coat was pretty rough looking when I arrived and I limped a bit. I have been getting good nutrition and medication in my foster home and I’m looking and feeling so much better! I may need to be on anti-inflammatory and/or allergy medication off and on for life, but it greatly improves my life! I am a great houseguest!
