We had the great fortune of hosting our first undertow show at NMV- an acoustic duo performance by Ida.

I first heard of Ida in an aol chat 👵🏼 and the next day took the train to find a copy of I Know About You. Their music has been a gentle, meaningful presence for me ever since. Elizabeth Mitchell’s excellent children’s albums (especially You are My Little Bird) were quite literally the soundtrack to our daughters’ childhood. It was a gift to meet and get to know Liz & Dan, and they reminded us all of the sacred power of art and community. Please check them out on their next tour, and look for their recent LP reissues on Numéro Group- they’re beautiful!

Ida continues to make wonderful music, and everyone present was fully blessed to experience their performance. Thank you to Ida, to Undertow, and to our incredible staff for making this happen! And thank you to the folks who made it out to the show, many from hours away!
