Hello friends! This Friday and Saturday are the last days weโre making doughnuts until cooler temps return in the fall.
We stop making doughnuts for the summer due to the high temps in our kitchen (often 95+ degrees), which kills off the yeasted dough. That coupled with the 350+ degree oil required for frying just makes it impossible.
Our vegan doughnuts are delicious, but they are made from quite a temperamental dough. We have lost much money and labor trying to make it work in hot temps. Please understand that we have made an informed decision and this works best for us.
The good news is that we will be adding lots of special treats with fresh seasonal produce over the next few months! As always, thank you for your support.
