I never used to be a fan of decorated cookies, because I felt like the cookies were typically pretty plain tasting and the icing is always super hard/crunchy. šŸ˜…(no hate at all of course, some people love them that way!)

When I first started making them, I worked a lot on my recipes, tweaking them to make them just right. And now Iā€™ve got 6 different super soft cut out cookie flavors that are full of flavor, and my icing always has a nice soft bite, not crunchy. šŸ˜Š

Closing out this month(and having just passed our one year anniversary!!šŸ„¹),I always like to add up how much of everything I sold, because itā€™s just so cool to see the growth!

I am so amazed at how much my bakery seems to have blown up this month. I made 2.5x my previous highest earning month since opening the bakery.

My husband works crazyyy hours(like 70+ hour weeks every weekšŸ„²) to keep everything going, and itā€™s such a blessing to be making enough that maybe he can slow down a bit.

So thank you soooo so much to everyone who puts their trust in me to make your treats for your special day! I also just have to say how amazing it is that our community is so big on supporting small businesses. I have such a great group of other local small business owners, who all support one another. šŸ©·

I wanted to also put out the numbers because I donā€™t think I even realized how much I did this month šŸ¤£

Sooo this month I made:
21 dozen cookies
7 dozen cookie bites
3 full sheet cakewiches
7 dozen cupcakes
4 4ā€ cakes
4 6ā€ cakes
2 8ā€ cakes
24 mini cookie cakes

Which is insane becauseeee i donā€™t know where i even found the time for all of that šŸ˜‚

So thank you all again, and also stay tuned for a couple of Fatherā€™s Day and Fourth of July samples coming up!!šŸ˜šŸ„°
