One of the best parts of creating Phantom Brook Blooms & Bread has been becoming part of this wonderful community of people who are dreaming up their own things and making them happen.

My friend Chandra Iris Pfeiffer stopped by the cottage yesterday with her family while traveling through Maine and wrote the sweetest post about the small businesses and farm stands she’s visited along the way. I’m so grateful she included me in her adventures 🥹

It was such a lovely Sunday, and I’m so grateful for everyone who continues to support this little cottage business.

The baked goods sold out through pre-orders this week, but I still have some beautiful mixed bouquets available. Fresh flowers are also available throughout the week with advance notice.

The bread is gone… but the flowers are just getting started!

Thank you for another incredible Cottage Drop. Every loaf of sourdough and every hand pie found a home this weekend, and I’m so grateful for your support.

The garden is producing beautiful blooms right now, and I have plenty of fresh mixed bouquets available.

If you joined my dahlia workshop, here’s a quick refresher on pinching your plants 🌸 It feels a little scary the first time, but removing the growing tip encourages branching—which means stronger plants and lots more blooms later in the season. Save this video for when your dahlias are ready to be pinched - approximately 12-16” tall.

Fresh-cut peony bunches are now available from Phantom Brook Blooms & Bread.

Each bunch includes 10 stems for $30 and is harvested right here in Salisbury Cove.

These were offered to email subscribers this morning, but I still have bunches available and would love to get them into your homes while they’re at their freshest.

Pickup doesn’t have to wait until Sunday—I’m happy to arrange pickup throughout the week at a time that’s convenient for both of us.

What a wonderful morning 🌸

A huge thank you to the seven amazing women who joined me today for the Phantom Brook Blooms Dahlia Workshop. We spent the morning talking all things dahlias—from tuber anatomy and planting techniques to pinching, cutting, storing, and everything in between.

The weather cooperated beautifully, the conversation was fantastic, and I loved all of the thoughtful questions and shared gardening experiences.

Everyone left with tubers to plant, new knowledge to put into practice, and hopefully a little extra excitement for the growing season ahead.

Thank you for spending part of your Saturday with me. I can’t wait to see photos of your blooms later this summer—and it sounds like we may have a fall workshop in our future! 🌸
