It is quite the tradition to officially bring the Avon Fat Steer Show and summer to a close with a grand fireworks display. Again the Avon community and businesses from around the area showed up in big way. We had 14 steers that were auctioned off last night and the average price was $4.05/lb! We used a base price of $2 so that means on the average the exhibitors got $2.05/ lb on their steers. Thank you buyers for supporting our youth and their projects.
