What a morning at Rusty Relics!

Deliveries and preorders were just dropped off, and you guys showed up BIG this week. Thank you so much for supporting my little bakery and the wonderful businesses that carry my products.

For my focaccia lovers!

Our September focaccia flavor is Cheesy Garlic Bread Focaccia!

Garlic, herbs and plenty of cheese are worked throughout the dough and added on top. It bakes up with that crispy olive oil exterior and soft, airy middle that makes focaccia one of my absolute favorites.

This would be so good with spaghetti or lasagna, alongside soup, sliced for sandwiches, or warmed up and eaten just as it is.

My toddlers absolutely love focaccia, so I already know I’ll be making an extra pan for my family!

This one has quickly become one of my favorite breads I’ve made. 😋

When I first tested our Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Sourdough, I listened to the feedback that it needed more pumpkin flavor. So back to testing I went, and this version absolutely nailed it.

More pumpkin, warm fall spices, and that delicious brown sugar cinnamon swirl running throughout. The pumpkin, honey, and avocado oil make this bread incredibly soft and tender and one of my test loaves stayed soft for an entire week! For an all-natural bread without preservatives, I was incredibly happy with that.

Enjoy it plain, toasted with butter, spread with pumpkin butter or apple butter from XM Gardens or turn it into an incredible French toast.

It’s the perfect bread to welcome fall even if Oklahoma weather hasn’t gotten the message yet. 😆

I just have to give Tiffany a recommendation after the wonderful job she did with my girl this weekend.

My dog has some health and mobility issues, so I’m always a little nervous about having her groomed. She was incredibly sweet and patient with her, took her time, and was so knowledgeable about working with her limitations. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands.

And she did such a great job! You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, not just getting them in and out the door.

If you’re looking for a groomer who is kind, knowledgeable, and does beautiful work, I definitely recommend her!

Our September Menu Is Here!

We’re easing into fall with some new flavors and a couple of things I’ve been really excited to finally add.

Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Sourdough —
pumpkin sourdough with honey, warm fall spices, and a brown sugar cinnamon swirl.

Garlic Bread Focaccia —
soft sourdough focaccia finished with garlic butter, Parmesan, and herbs. Perfect for spaghetti night!

Fresh-Milled Spelt Apple Cinnamon Crumb Cake — fresh-milled spelt, apples, cinnamon, and a buttery brown sugar crumb.

And something completely NEW — Fresh-Milled Pancake Mixes! We’re starting with our Traditional Fresh-Milled Pancake Mix and Spelt Banana Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix. These have been tested and tweaked, and I’m so excited to finally share them with you!

Our regular sourdough loaves, cookies, and preorder favorites are sticking around too.

This is something I feel so strongly about. 🤎

Supporting local is about so much more than simply “shopping small.” It’s about knowing where your food comes from, knowing who is making it, and having transparency about what you’re feeding your family.

One of the things I love most about our local food community is that you can actually know the farmer who raised your food, the baker who made your bread, the person who grew your vegetables, or the small business owner who carefully chose what they put on their shelves.

As a baker, that transparency is incredibly important to me. I want my customers to know what goes into the food I make and where my ingredients come from whenever possible.

And every time we choose local, we're also helping real families and small businesses right here in our own communities continue doing what they do.

And I have to add how much I absolutely love the owners behind Country Style Scents & General Store. They are genuinely wonderful people with such a heart for supporting local farmers, makers, and small businesses. I'm incredibly thankful to have people like them in our community and to get to support what they're building. 🤎
