You’ll have the opportunity to experience five of Kentucky’s best bourbons in a setting that reflects the elegance of historic Atlanta at By George restaurant, located in the beautiful Candler Hotel on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. 

Les Dames d ‘Escoffier International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women involved in the culinary and beverage arts and related industries, including hospitality and agriculture, in the form of scholarships and grants. Funds garnered by its annual Bourbon & Bites event go directly to these efforts.

Here's five of the small batch expressions you’ll taste at Bourbon and Bites. Each bourbon will be paired with delicious small plates graciously prepared from the Chef Julio Castillo-Aviles at By George restaurant.

Maker’s Mark Community Bourbon, Maker’s Mark Distillery, was established in 1953; taste the amarena cherry mixed with candied orange zest and burnt sugar.

Blue Run Spirits was founded as a modernized bourbon company in 2000. Bourbon Hall of Famer Jim Rutledge oversees production.

Eagle Rare, Buffalo Trace Distillery, has been offered since 1975. The taste is bold, dry and delicate with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa. 

Old Forester 1920 from Brown-Forman. If you had a prescription for whiskey during prohibition, you could likely get your hands on a bottle of Old Forester Bonded Bourbon.  

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, sharp honey, chocolate, marzipan and toasted oak.

We made it as girly as possible without goimg over the top.
Chocolate cake, choc buttercream inside and fondant ruffles.
Circus pieces were not edible this time around. They were a cute addition to it.

One of our favorites of 2022! Often said but this one is #1 on the list for this year.
This beauty stands 29" tall and 6 tiers.
It was a great challenge & delivery aged me several years. Flavor was almond cake with a lemon zest buttercream cheese icing.

Shout out again to my team . Everyone was involved in every single aspect of this cake! Details were a doozy!
