WE’RE HIRING for Front of House Associate
Zax Bakeshop is looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our team as a part-time Front of House Associate!
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, stays busy, and takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and welcoming. You’ll be one of the faces our customers interact with when they visit Zax, so we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who can help us provide the friendly experience our customers know us for.
What You’ll Do:
-Assist customers with placing and picking up orders
-Answer basic questions about the shop and our products
-Take accurate messages and questions for our kitchen team
-Clean, organize, and restock pastry cases
-Fold boxes and prep the front counter for service
-Keep the storefront clean and presentable
-Sweep and mop floors
-Dust and perform general cleaning
-Help with other front-of-house tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
-Friendly, positive, and comfortable engaging with customers
-Dependable and punctual
-Able to work independently and stay productive during slower periods
-Willing to clean, organize, and help wherever needed
-Good communication skills
-Someone who takes pride in representing Zax Bakeshop and creating a great experience for our customers
Schedule: Part-time approximately 10–15 hours per week. Additional hours may be available during holidays and other busy times of the year.
Pay: Starting at $10/hour, with potential for more based on experience.
