Celebrate Ukraine’s Independence Week With Us

This week, Piece & Freedom is celebrating something especially close to our hearts: Ukraine’s Independence Day.

From Wednesday, August 19 through Sunday, August 23, we invite you to celebrate Ukraine with us through food, traditions, giving, and a few special surprises. Ukraine’s official Independence Day is August 24, and we’ll hold our main in-store celebration on Sunday, August 23.

All week, we’ll be making traditional Ukrainian triangular blintz filled with sweet farmer’s cheese, with your choice of topping.

Come try something that tastes like home to us.

💙💛 Help Us Support Ukraine

Throughout the week, you’ll find a donation box in the bakery benefiting the battalion where one of the co-owner's (Hanna Petrova) father serves in Ukraine.

We’ll share his photo and story at the bakery so you can learn exactly who your contribution is helping. If you would like to support them, any amount is meaningful.

📲 Share Ukraine, Get a Treat

Take a photo or video during your visit, share it on social media, and tag Piece & Freedom.

Show us your post before you leave and we'll give you a $1 coupon toward your next bakery visit.

Sunday will be the biggest day of our Independence Week celebration.

And for our first customers of the day, we’ll have a limited number of Piece & Freedom kitchen towels as a free gift with purchase.

Come early, grab something Ukrainian to eat, celebrate with us, and help us fill the bakery with blue and yellow.
