Poor Susie! I found her stuck and tired. She just laid her head on the hay so I knew she had been struggling for a while. I tried to manipulate her horns and head to get her out but I just couldn’t do it. I called Paul, he told me where to find a saw and I got to work sawing through the bar above her head. Success! Poor girl. We’re always learning out here on the homestead.

We’ve been kicking around the idea of having 2-3 regular customers that we deliver eggs to every Friday. It would be $5/week that can be billed monthly, delivery within Alvord.
