Why do we care if our chickens are happy? Happy chickens = healthy chickens = better/more eggs. Plus we’re just animal people around here, we even care if our fish are happy. So when we have an old Christmas tree or fallen branches the kiddos add to the chicken fort. They recently moved the location and redesigned it all on their own and boy do those chickens just love it! 🧡

Our ladies have finally been affected by the heat, they had a good run! Eggs have slowed way down so we’re doing our best to fill orders but there will likely be a wait until the temperature drops 🧡

We are excited to announce that we will now sell sourdough starter! This is Florence and she has been with us since 2022 but has been going long before we started this journey. Florence is a laid back gal and just goes with the flow. If you would like to purchase a bit of her we will take orders the same way we take bread orders - put in your order by Thursday 6pm and we’ll have it ready for pick up the next day, Friday, in Alvord. The starter will come in a jar with instructions for $12. 🧡
