What’s the difference between the Original and Sandwich sourdough loaves?
✨just the shape✨
They’re both the same recipe, but baked in a different vessel. Somehow the sandwich shape takes it to the next level for me and stays moist so much longer. My husband’s favorite part about this kind is that all of the slices are the same size; perfect for sandwiches 🥪

The Millstone Sandwich is a sourdough loaf made with 100% whole wheat flour milled fresh right in my kitchen. It's filling and full of nutrients.

If you ever wonder why certain things end up on the menu, it’s likely that I got a hankering for something but didn’t want the mass produced (preservative-filled) version.
Naturally, the question becomes “could I make it?”.
