One of the most common questions I get is, "what size is this cake?" And unless I made it, I have no idea. After years of photographing cakes, I've learned how to make a small cake look large and large cake look small. How big would you say this cake was? And to keep it simple, let's guess the dimensions of the cake board.

Black and gold is one of my favorite color combinations. I know some may scrunch their noses at black buttercream, but my hack to get this deep color is HEAT! I add a little gel color and then zap it in the microwave to take it from a grayish black to midnight black.

When y'all send me new dessert ideas, I'm really listening! This concoction is my sweet potato pie cookie sandwiched with a toasted marshmallow fluff and a pecan oatmeal crumble for some pizazz! The only person to try this is since he suggested I turn my (soon-to-be) famous cookie into a sandwich. I'll have this on the menu this fall!

I cannot say enough good things about Sweet Bri's Bakery! She nailed the cookies and cake for our sweet boy's 2nd birthday bash. I mean, look at these cookies!! They were almost too perfect to eat.....but, we ate them.....and they tasted as good as they looked! 🤤

A solid end to the season with our last games in Dallas-Fort Worth! Thanks to Dallas foodie Polyglot Foodie for coordinating local DFW restaurants Bayou Cat and Kekoa's Kitchen for sponsoring lunch and dinner for our Devoted Dreamers Foundation team! Had some nice red beans and rice and fried chicken from Bayou Cat, and kalua pork and teriyaki chicken made by Chef Austin Gabriel from Kekoa's Kitchen, as well as stuffed waffle cones, chocolate-covered strawberries, cupcakes, and other desserts sponsored by LaQuanda’s Sweet Treats and Sweet Bri's Bakery.
