Savory buckwheat galettes are deeply rooted in Breton cooking, traditionally paired with cider and filled with everything from egg and cheese to sausage, mushrooms and more.

In Brittany, the savory star is the galette—made with buckwheat, cooked on a hot bilig and filled with everything from the beautifully simple to the decidedly indulgent.

Crisp edges. Tender center. Very Breton.
