Award-Winning Hand Made Donuts & Coffee

Sugar Shack Donuts and Coffee opened its first location in Richmond, VA, in the summer of 2013. It was the brainchild of founder and CEO, Chef Ian Kelley. Today, Sugar Shack prepares delicious, handmade donuts in more than 10 locations, with more stores on the way. Each location is owned and operated locally with the same dedication to quality and community as the original on N. Lombardy.

Sugar Shack DMV opened its first location in the Parker Gray neighborhood of Alexandria, VA. Owner Rob Krupicka decided to bring Sugar Shack to the DMV after falling for their fluffy, handmade donuts and fresh, inventive glazes and toppings in Richmond.

Oh, and we'd be remiss if we didn't mention our amazing coffee. We brew Zeke's Coffee, which is based in Baltimore, as well as Sugar Shack's own branded brew from Virginia. Our baristas can make just about anything you crave, from a Honey Lavender Lattes to Cortaditos.

We pride ourselves on being rooted in the community, providing competitive wages and benefits, and being a safe space for all to come and relax while enjoying our donuts and coffee.
