Every presale palette starts with the theme. But the foundational work happens in the bowl. I mix, I adjust, I step back and look again before I commit to a batch.

The rule I keep coming back to: simple and impactful beats complicated every time. Too many colors competes with the design instead of supporting it.

And tonality is where the artistry lives. The difference between “green” and my green is what makes a set recognizably mine.

Krissy’s birthday set proves the “theme” doesn’t have to be one thing — it can just be her.

Espresso martinis, a chocolate lab named Penny, her favorite color pink and a Stanley cup she never puts down. That’s it. That’s the whole brief.

Give me a handful of favorite things and I’ll turn them into a set that feels like a portrait, not just a dessert table.

That’s the magic of custom — it’s never really about the cookie, it’s about the person.
