Today, we came together at the Balloon Fiesta to celebrate Vincent’s birthday. Moments like these make his absence feel especially heavy. I hold tightly to the memories we shared, but my heart aches knowing we won’t get to make any more with him. It feels like it was just yesterday that we were celebrating his birthday in 2020. I wish I could just turn back the hands of time and hug him even tighter 🫂
Vincent is the reason Bakes For Angels exists. Baking breads and pastries for you all brings me so much joy, but woven into that joy is the sorrow of missing him. Baking helps me navigate my grief, and even through the heartache, I know this is where I’m meant to be—honoring someone I love so deeply.
