Beurre's Terms and Conditions
All quotes are valid for two weeks from quote date, after this time you may need to obtain a new quote. PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT
• We require a 50% non-refundable Booking Fee to confirm a cake order and hold the date; until this is received we cannot guarantee that your date will remain available. Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable.
• The r
emaining 50% is due 10 days before the delivery/ collection date, at which point all changes must be confirmed (changes to the previously agreed design may incur extra fees).
• Orders placed less than 2 weeks in advance of the delivery date must be paid in full.
• The final balance specified on the invoice must be paid by the customer at least 10 days before the delivery/ collection date.
• Payment can be made earlier if you wish.
• Failure to complete payment 10 days before the delivery/ collection date may result in your order being cancelled. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
• Booking Fees and full payments are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. This may or may not be due to loss of business arising from turning away other bookings on that date.
• Full payments made less than 30 days in advance of the delivery date are non-refundable. Full payments made more than 30 days in advance of the delivery date are subject to a Cancellation Fee if cancelled more than 30 days in advance of the delivery date. We cannot refund the cost of any orders cancelled with less than 30 days’ notice. Orders paid in full and cancelled with more than 30 days’ notice will receive a partial refund of 50% of the total amount paid. In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, then we will give you as much notice as possible and discuss the matter with you and try to agree a suitable alternative. If you do not wish to accept our suggested alternative, then we will refund the full price to you. DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
• Where samples of the Goods are shown to the customer, the customer hereby accepts that they consider such samples to be representative of the Goods. Any description applied to the Goods is only given by way of identification and does not constitute a sale by description. Any image provided as part of the description of similar goods is given for illustrative purposes only. Given the nature of the goods, minor variations of colour and design may apply.
• We cannot be held liable for any damages to the cake or products we have delivered once the cake left our premises or if the cake or products are collected from us. All our cakes are fragile and require care and attention when handling, storing, and displaying.
• The collection vehicle should have a flat surface and be clean and tidy. This is the responsibility of the customer. The cake or products can be very fragile, so we advise to drive very slowly and carefully and purchase non-slip matting.
• We will always endeavour to deliver within the given time slot, however unfortunately delivery timings cannot be guaranteed. Refunds will not be given for delayed deliveries. If in the unlikely event the delivery is delayed, we will always endeavour to deliver the cake to you as close as possible to the given delivery time.
• It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided the correct delivery information and that the venue is open and available at the arranged time. If no-one is available to receive the cake at the agreed delivery time, your order will be returned to the business and we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery time; for which a charge will be applied. We accept no responsibility for any loss or consequential loss incurred by the customer as a result of this matter. CUSTOMISED CAKES
• Customised cakes must be ordered two weeks in advance, and final payment must be received two weeks prior to delivery/pickup (or as otherwise advised). If payment is not received your order may be cancelled and any deposits forfeited. We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or contract is null and void. Please note: we will not release a cake unless full payment has been received.
• Any changes of size, style or flavours of the cake, must be notified at least two weeks prior to final payment and may incur additional charges. (Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to additional charges). QUALITY AND STORAGE OF YOUR ORDER
• Your order will be baked as close to your delivery/collection day as possible to ensure quality and freshness. Cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place, preferably in the box that they are supplied in. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of less than 24 degrees (Fondant cakes cannot be refrigerated, as this will cause sweating of the fondant.)
• We suggest all orders should be eaten as close to the delivery/collection date as possible. Any food consumed after 24 hours or later is at the client’s discretion and becomes their responsibility. Once food has been delivered, the responsibility of consumption is with the customer and, therefore, indemnifies the business of all liability for personal use. ALLERGIES
• If your order has allergy restrictions (nut, soy, gluten, etc..), we will do our best to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee your order will be free from all allergy traces. Your order is prepared in a kitchen where these products may be used in other cakes and fillings as well as equipment. It is your responsibility to inform your guests of this allergy information. We will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the cake. WEATHER
• Heat and humidity can adversely affect your cake. It is advised the cake to be kept in an air-conditioned area or, at the very least, a cool area. It is strongly suggested that cakes being collected by the customer be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle. Custom made coolers can be made for additional cost. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur due to weather conditions. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
• In the unfortunate circumstance you are unhappy with your order and will not be using it for your event, you must contact BEURRE the DAY OF or the NEXT DAY of your event date in one of the following ways: (call/text) +63 977 322 5344 (leave a message if there’s no answer), Facebook Messenger or Email: [email protected]. ALL unused portion of the order must be returned to Beurre to determine the refund value, if applicable.
