2025 I had the trill of winning the Hand Held Time Travel section of Art in Motion Timaru with my edible handbag- The Paradox Purse. To my knowledge- it is the first time in NZ that a cake has entered a runway show. 2022 I had the honor presenting this creation to Dames Jools and Linda Topp at a charity fundraising event. The design on the guitar was personalized, love, mana, inclusiveness in all things life. It was huge- both in size and privilege. Even better was meeting those Untouchable Gals- such warmth, down to earth humans. RIP Dame Jools- our condolences to the Topp family

I managed to con Shelley Clay from Miss Muffets Cakes to be my Kitchen Beeettcchhh for a weekend. It was the yearly NZ Cake New Zealand Cake Decorators Guild conference- shelly was a superstar! She had never been my wing man before- and she shone brightly- we had a blast. The conference- well that was so well run- such amazing people- so welcoming and hospitable- we were treated like rockstars! Oh and the food and venue at Silverstream was 2nd to none too! If you have ever thought about going to or entering a guild conference- do so- its a real boost for the soul and such a lot of fun. The next conference in in sunny Nelson- May next year.

3D edible watering can in cake- with handmade sugar roses. A stunning colour pallet for such an iconic design. Im starting to really enjoy handmade flowers- they are an excellent alternative to fresh flowers with the advantage of creative colour selection to either match or enhance any cake. Please share my work

We love the stories behind our cake orders, this truck was the first he ever drove- was thrown the keys and told to drive as a teen i believe. 3D replica trucks require a lot of planning but all we had to go off this time, was a single photo- I think it came out right? Some details we just weren't clear on so had to improvise. Please share our work, it's how we advertise- also, if you comment on the post, it keeps it current in the feeds. Cheers folks
