I love kids cakes - let’s face it, I pretty much love all of the cakes I make, but there is something about kids cakes that always make me a little bit magical. It’s their faces when they get to come and pick them up - wonder, delight, not sure exactly what it is, but every time, it makes my day.

Hello, just a wee update with some things happening in June.

I have just returned from a much needed week off and am feeling fab. During my time off I got a call re a surgery that I have been on a wait list for and it has been scheduled for mid June.

The orders I have booked in for from June 17th until 28th are locked and loaded but I won’t be taking anymore orders. I will be back on board to regularly scheduled programming from June 29th.

This is a low profile wedding cake. It an 8” low on the bottom and 6” low on the top. To make up the servings, they also had a large precut slab.

This isn’t a pretty reel but, when I did this today, I knew I needed to share. I may have had my head down a hole and this may be what everyone else does, but just in case you were just like me and didn’t do this, give it a try.

I always have issues with my edible ink printer with lines and compressed images and the edible paper not feeding through the printer very well, so today, I thought surely you can change the paper type…….drumroll please, yes, of course you can and changing it to cardstock makes it print sooooooo much better 🤦‍♀️🤯

Or you can get the mixed box, which I one of each flavour mentioned above.

These are $40 per box

The Mother’s Day baby cake has 6 different flavour combos available.

Pick up on Saturday, May 9th between 10am and 12pk or Delivery ($5 extra) on Sunday, May 10th.

I made this one a while ago, but it got lost in the photo archives.

Out of all of the cute fondant things I have made, those boots were the most difficult of all, give me cute animals any day 😆
