Just a quick note regarding Sunday's Hāngi as I want to be upfront and not disappoint anyone 😊

Due to food safety regulations, this will not be a traditional in-ground hāngi.

Instead, we will be preparing it using steam cooking, cabbage leaves, traditional hāngi ingredients and hāngi-style smoke flavour to create a meal inspired by the authentic flavours we all know and love.

Our goal is to get as close as possible to that traditional hāngi taste while ensuring we meet all food safety requirements.

The meal will include pork, chicken, potato, kūmara, pumpkin, stuffing and seasonal vegetables, served hot and ready to eat.

Thank you all for the incredible support so far – we can't wait to share it with you! ❤️

So we're going to make it happen this Sunday!

🔥 Traditional Style Hāngi – $15 🔥

Packed with pork, chicken, potato, kūmara, pumpkin, stuffing and seasonal vegetables.

Possibly making fry bread as an add on for $1.

To make sure everyone gets one, we're taking pre-orders now.

Fresh hot Hāngi will be available for collection from 2pm Sunday.

We've been busy in the kitchen and have a delicious range of homemade meals available this week. Perfect for an easy dinner or to stock the freezer!

All meals are made fresh in our kitchen and available for collection on Sunday from 12pm–4pm at 456 Waitakere Road.

Just a quick update for everyone 😊

Rest assured, we will be open tomorrow from 12pm–4pm!

I'm busy in the kitchen today working on this week's meals, but I haven't put up the preorder list just yet as I'm still finalising recipes and working out exactly how many serves I'll get from the ingredients on hand.

We'll also have our raffle tickets available, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs, and we're working on a few delicious desserts to fill the fridge tomorrow as well. 🍰

Keep an eye on the page later today for meal updates once I've got the numbers sorted.
