🍫🎂 A little chocolate overload for a special birthday celebration! 🤎 One of the decadent chocolate overload cakes we made the other day, perfect for celebrating a special occasion! 🎉🍫

Things have been a little quiet on here, but definitely not behind the scenes! We’ve been keeping very busy at the cafe, working on a few things behind the scenes, and taking some time to take care of personal matters too..

We just want to take a moment to say a BIG thank you to all our lovely customers for your continued support, patience, and understanding. It truly means so much to us! 🥹🤎

With the lead up to Christmas approaching, things are about to get even busier with café orders, catering, weddings, and all the lovely celebrations we get to be a part of! 🎄✨ This does mean that there may be some days when we need to close early or take a day off to accommodate our bookings and personal commitments. We’ll do our best to keep you all updated in advance, so please keep an eye on our page for any changes to our opening hours 🤎

A little heads up: Tomorrow (Saturday 17th of October) we’ll be closing at around 1pm for personal reasons.

This was a fun one! 🌲🎣 🎂🙌 a no added gluten chocolate cake, layered with our house made caramel and finished with rich chocolate buttercream to create a rustic tree log look. 🌳🍫

And of course, the star of the show had to be the birthday boy himself! 😄🎣🌲 We added a printed edible image of him fishing, surrounded by piped buttercream bark, crumbed no added gluten cookie for the moss and pipped greenery to bring the whole woodland theme to life!

We absolutely loved creating this one — a cake that was personal, fun and made especially special ❤️

🌿 WILD ONE 🌿

A very special cake for a little wild one’s 1st birthday! 🦁🐘🌿

This 7-inch, three-layer banana cake was filled with strawberry compote and topped with vanilla buttercream, with fondant details and custom cookies to bring the whole design together. 🍓🍌

And the best part? The cake AND cookies were made to cater for the family’s dietary requirements — no added gluten, low sugar, dairy-free and vegan-friendly. 💚

The cookies made the cutest (and tastiest!) cake toppers, and we absolutely loved hearing how much everyone enjoyed them!

🥊🖤 THIS MONTH’S “MISFITS BEST FIT” 🖤🥊

This month, our Misfits “The Best Fit” went to the incredible crew at Ironfist Boxing. 🏆

“The Best Fit” is our little way of recognising people in our community who are doing good, showing up for others and making a difference — and we couldn’t think of a more deserving bunch this month.

What stood out to us about Ironfist is their commitment to our community and, especially, our youth. Creating a place where people can belong, grow, build confidence and have people in their corner is pretty bloody special. 🥹❤️

So we did what we Misfits do best… made them a cake 🎂😂 and popped in to celebrate them!

To the whole Ironfist crew — thank you for what you bring to our community. Keep doing what you’re doing. We see you, and we appreciate you. 🥊🖤
