Black Forest cake is German by origin — so naturally, we needed a German to sign off on ours.

Das ist gut. Actually — das ist sehr gut. 🍒

Mumbai’s been serving you cream cake with cherries and calling it Black Forest.

Now ours is no classic — it’s an Oreo crust, Belgian dark chocolate cheesecake, homemade dark cherry compote. A modern twist. But apparently a very welcome one.
Closer to the original. Just dangerously better.
