🍫✨ Chocolate Battenberg Glow-Up ✨🍰

Okay but… this one was such a level-up from the classic Battenberg.

Instead of the usual pink and vanilla squares, I switched it up with chocolate + vanilla checkerboard layers, wrapped snugly in rich marzipan (majipan vibes 😌), and sealed everything together with the most decadent chocolate ganache.

That ganache though? Smooth, glossy, extra indulgent — it hugged the marzipan to the cake like glue and added that deep chocolatey kick in every bite.

Honestly, it’s giving cozy + luxe at the same time.
Soft sponge, sweet marzipan, dark chocolate… zero regrets. Would 100% make again. 🍫
