👗Crystal Snow Dress Cake – Recipe ✨
🧁 Ingredients
For the Vanilla Cake (3 tiers)
Bottom Tier (8-inch):
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter (softened)
4 large eggs
1 cup milk
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Middle Tier (6-inch):
2 cups flour
1 ½ cups sugar
¾ cup butter
3 eggs
½ cup milk
1 ½ tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
Top Tier (4-inch):
1 cup flour
¾ cup sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs
¼ cup milk
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla

❄️ Buttercream Frosting
2 cups butter (softened)
6 cups powdered sugar
4–5 tbsp milk
1 tbsp vanilla
Light blue gel color
White gel color

❄️ Decorations
White fondant
Light blue fondant
Edible glitter
Edible silver pearls
Snowflake fondant cutters
Clear isomalt or sugar shards (for crystal effect)
Piping bag + small round nozzle

👗 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Cake Layers
1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
2. Prepare the batter for the bottom tier first.
3. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
5. Add vanilla.
6. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold into wet ingredients.
7. Add milk and mix until smooth.
8. Pour into greased pans and bake each tier 30–40 minutes or until golden.
9. Repeat for the 6-inch and 4-inch tiers.
10. Let all cakes cool completely.

2️⃣ Prepare Buttercream
1. Beat butter until creamy.
2. Add powdered sugar gradually.
3. Add milk and vanilla.
4. Tint part of the frosting light blue and leave the rest white.

3️⃣ Assemble the Cake
1. Level each cake using a knife.
2. Place the 8-inch cake, spread buttercream, stack the next tier, repeat.
3. Insert 4 dowels in the bottom tier and 3 in the middle tier for stability.
4. Cover the entire cake with a thin crumb coat, chill 20 minutes.
5. Add a smooth final coat of white and light-blue buttercream blended in an ombré style.

4️⃣ Create the Dress Look
1. Roll out white fondant into flowing “fabric” shapes.
2. Attach them to the sides to look like a princess gown.
3. Add folds and layers for volume.
4. Add light blue fondant panels to create depth and icy movement.

5️⃣ Add Crystal Snow Details
Attach snowflake fondant shapes.
Add edible pearls as embellishments.
Insert sugar or isomalt shards around the top to create a crystal crown effect.
Dust lightly with edible glitter for an icy sparkle.
