It was a looong day, the games were hard fought, but my team mates played a blinder!! Many months of training , so much support from Roisin, Michael and Ronan, and under the watchful eye of the coach, Paddy, we got to the All Irelands. And we won!! Westmeath are the All Ireland Badminton Champions! What a way to wrap up the Badminton season, YAY us!! 😊🇮🇪

Massive best of luck to our Westmeath Grade 6 team representing Leinster in the All Ireland Finals tomorrow in Galway. Ballymore are proud to make up the team by having a massive 5 players from our little club. Hopefully WESTMEATH will be bringing home the silverware from Galway and Dublin 🏆 Hon Westmeath

Got to go on a long motorbike ride with my brothers and their mates that all came over from the UK. It was amazing, exhausting and exciting.... and did I mention exhausting 🤣
I'm a newbie, and have a lot more practicing to do, and certainly need to build up endurance (biking is not for wusses!) It was the longest ride so far, but I learned loads, and the experienced riders were so kind, sharing tips and encouragement and being all round cool guys! We went from Moate, through the Curragh, over Sally's Gap and into Gorey, where we stopped for the best home made pizza and the warmest hospitality from Adi and her wonderful family. Then all the way home again, tired but happy. It was so good to see my brothers, Bogusia and the entourage, and felt like I was one of the cool kids! Also, it was so cool seeing a long stretch of bikes ahead and behind on the ride. (And my butt unclench the day after, my arms stopped vibrating the day after too, but the happy feels stayed!)

had a great time at Salon Cullinaire in London last week. was very happy to receive solver for my piece, especially after having to make repairs and patch ups in a very warm apartment! (modelling chocolate and modelling paste do not like warm apartments)
