Beautiful weddings deserve a beautiful cake and nothing fits the bill better than handmade sugar paste roses. I love the simplicity of the colour scheme - classic ivory for roses, leaves, baby's breath and covering to create a stunning effect. Congratulations to the happy couple, wishing you a lifetime of love together ❤️

While I've done a few Minecraft cakes in the past, this was the first one to feature Alex and a zombie! When I asked Hunter what models he would like on his cake he was ready with a list which also included Steve, the diamond sword and the Ender dragon. When asked he'd like inside, he replied It will always be chocolate biscuit cake!" Happy birthday, Hunter xx

Holidays are great, but getting back to routine is good too and I'm back to work now having been on holidays for a couple of weeks. My first cake to go out was this lovely Frozen and unicorn themed cake for Jessica who turned 7 recently. Inside there are three layers of 6" chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream filling. Adorned with pink, baby blue and white sparkly snowflakes, the cake is perfect for the occasion. Happy birthday, Jessica!

My usual style for models is to make them cute and cartoon-like but for this cake I decided to be more realistic. I was asked to make a cake for Ryan who has a bearded dragon that is his pride and joy. Using a photo as my guide, I tried to recreate his dragon and the items in the tank and this is the result. I was just thrilled when Ryan's mum, Tara, sent me a photo of the two bearded dragons. Happy birthday, Ryan!
