For bake off tonight, I made white chocolate and raspberry bread and butter pudding, with brioche bread.

I actually thought they were doing the classic bread and butter pudding with raisins and just didn't want to do that, so I'm delighted to be accidentally more accurate than expected.

I think we've finally gotten to a point where I honestly don't dread bread week any more. It's actually grand?

It's bread week, and I've made pull apart garlic bread rolls, stuffed with smoked garlic chorizo butter and mozzarella cheese.

The smell in my house right now is heavenly and could honestly repel the entire cast of Twilight.

Tiramisu cheesecake this week, with sponge fingers soaked in mocha espresso cold brew, a chocolate biscuit base, coffee cream cheese filling, and a whipped cream and ricotta coffee topping.

It's rare that I have the energy to do two bakes for one week, but I somehow found it this week. Dark and milk chocolate chip hazelnut cookies, sprinkled with sea salt.

And then some iced gems (ahem, iced Jens) for good measure. Vanilla, raspberry, and forest fruits flavours in the icing.

And we're back, with a chocolate stout cake to kick off cake week.

I'm not well this week, so didn't have the energy to do anything fancier than some simple buttercream, but it's the taste that counts and it's turned out well.
