The end of an era for Clonakilty Gluten Free Kitchen.
After six years in operation, Clonakilty Gluten Free Kitchen has made the difficult decision to cease trading and close the business.
Since its establishment, the company has been committed to producing high-quality artisan gluten-free products and has been privileged to supply customers and retailers across Ireland.
During that time, the business achieved significant milestones, including national and international recognition through multiple Great Taste and Blas an hEireann Awards, and built a loyal customer base that consistently supported our vision.
However, despite continued growth and strong support for the brand, the business has been operating in an increasingly challenging economic environment. Sustained increases in the cost of raw materials, packaging, energy and distribution—driven by broader global economic pressures—have fundamentally altered the cost base of the business.
We would like to pay tribute to the exceptional team who have been at the heart of Clonakilty Gluten Free Kitchen throughout its journey. Their dedication, craftsmanship, resilience and unwavering commitment to quality have shaped everything the business has achieved.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our customers, retail partners, suppliers and everyone who has supported Clonakilty Gluten Free Kitchen throughout the years. Your loyalty and belief in our business have been instrumental in everything we achieved, and we are immensely proud of what was built together.
While this marks the end of Clonakilty Gluten Free Kitchen as an independent business, we leave with immense pride in the products we created, the relationships we developed and the contribution we made to Ireland’s gluten-free food sector.
