Happy 15th birthday to my oldest grandson Lucas, celebrating today in sunny Filey with a pic and mix / magic stars illusion cake. This was a 6" cake, with layers of chocolate sponge, filled with chocolate buttercream and covered with a rich milk chocolate ganache and covered in an assortment of sweets and lollipops.

Congratulations to my Great Niece Reagan, who not only celebrates her birthday, but also took and passed her driving theory today too 🥳🎉.
Layers of vanilla cake, sprinkled through with freeze dried raspberries, filled with white chocolate and raspberry buttercream, finished with graduated vanilla buttercream, decorated with fresh raspberries, macarons, meringue pieces, faux roses and foliage.

Happy 6th Birthday to the cutest little chocoholic, Aria, who is celebrating today with a very shimmery two tier chocolate dream of a cake.
Layers of chocolate sponge filled with chocolate buttercream and covered in milk chocolate ganache. Bottom tier is 8", covered in giant cadbury buttons and a fabulous gold shimmer dust ( which sadly, the phone camera didn't pick up properly - it makes the buttons look like a dusty, sad orange 😕); top tier is 6", covered in Milky Way stars, silver shimmer and a humongous chocolate number 6, covered in hundreds and thousands.
It's a shame there is no smell-a- vision as it smelled fantastic 😃.

Huge congratulations to Raechel, who celebrated a big birthday this weekend with a surprise cake from her Mum Sue.
Layers of orange sponge, filled with Terry's Chocolate Orange buttercream, covered with Terry's Choc orange ganache and then marbled sugar paste. A hand made sugar model of the birthday girl on her bike finished the design.

A very happy birthday to Lola, who celebrated this week with a K-Pop demon hunter themed cake.
8” Vanilla sponge, layered with salted caramel buttercream and sauce, crumb coated in buttercream, finished in white chocolate ganache, with sugar paste stars, edible images, mini disco balls and a spritz of edible shimmer dust.

A special celebration cake for a keen walker, with a backboard pic of their fave Lake District spot, that went out this weekend. Lemon sponge, filled with lemon buttercream and curd, covered in white chocolate ganache and sugarpaste., with handmade sugar models.
Quite pleased with this considering it was made on one of the hottest weekends on record ( and with a broken wrist 🫣).

Happy 50th birthday to my niece Carlene who celebrated today with this lovely little 8" lemon drizzle sponge cake, filled with lemon curd and buttercream, covered in white chocolate ganache and finished in sugar paste. Decorations include silk flowers and a big pink hand crafted sugar bow.

My oldest granddaughter celebrated her 18th birthday this week. Here is the cake I made her for her party last night. Vanilla sponge layers filled with white chocolate and raspberry buttercream, crumbcoated in white choc ganache, finished with a buttercream top coat.
