My absolute favorite cake of 2024; not the biggest or most elaborate of cakes I have ever made; but this is dear to my heart. In October we gathered to celebrate a very special woman…. my mom aka mommy!! I could have gotten any of the amazing bakers I know in the UK to get her cake done but it’ was sheer pleasure and honor to make my mom’s 80th birthday cake. Every cake is special but this is sure is my favorite from 2024.

The Cake tiers were baked, iced and covered in sage green fondant from Calgary; sugar flowers all packed up in containers and safely secured in my handbag…… trust me guys my tote bag can carry everything!!! 🤪

The tiers made it through security at YYC airport; the 9hours flight to UK and an hour drive home.

The party was all a surprise🥰; that was until I arrived cos we had lots to accomplish in a few days

Sofia and Ahmeds wedding cake I absolutely loved; cos it was different from any cake I have done, Sofia knew what she wanted from the get go; the shortest cake tasting I have ever had in terms of choosing flavors and all the details being sorted. I am truly blessed
