Todays bake was a biscoff and banana bread! However the banana overpowers the biscoff and you can’t taste it 😞
Practice makes perfect, I now know for next time to add more biscoff.

So I think I gave myself too little a time to properly practice valentines brownies so I’m giving it a miss this year! These are the ones I’ve just done but they didn’t look like this in my head 😂

Gonna sit and plan for Easter I think, give myself a bit more time so keep your eyes peeled if you want to buy some Easter brownies! 🐣

Really been thinking about getting back into baking and selling!
Valentine’s Day is 6 days away and I have a little image in my head of some brownies that I want to create!
Do I get back into it for occasions- valentines, Easter, Christmas etc? Or do I leave it?

And that is me done!

I’ve just finished my final set of brownies.

These are just some of the brownies that I’ve made this last week, on top of these brownies I worked a 7 day week with two 4am starts so to say I’m tired would be an understatement.

Again I would just like to thank anyone and everyone who has ordered from me over the last couple of months I appreciate it so much.

I’m now shutting up shop (not forever) I’ll be back one day and I’ll be sure to let you all know when that is, but for now I’m going to continue baking and get better at what I do.

Hi everyone!

I’ve came to the decision that after my last day of baking on the 23rd of this month I will be closing the smile and bakes book. If anyone would like brownies then now is the time to order.

Before I started smiles and bakes I used to just bake for fun, but I wanted to challenge myself and thought I’d try selling as I saw so many people doing so well with baked goods boxes.

Unfortunately for me it just didn’t take off and I just wasn’t getting the custom like I thought I would, so that’s why I’ve came to the decision to stop selling my brownie boxes.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has supported me on this little journey, anyone who’s ordered my brownies, my taste testers who were a huge help & anyone who kept pushing me to continue.

For now I’m going back to baking for fun, in the hope of getting a better repertoire of baking skills, I absolutely love baking and would never stop doing it but for now the selling is stopping and maybe I’ll be in the future. 🤍
