Truly Scrumptious Aspull Small independent coffee/tea shop that strives to source locally Truly Scrumptious is a brand new venture for me and my parents.
(363)

We have always been keen on food - who isn't?! I also thought that Aspull was lacking in somewhere you could sit and have a nice cup of tea/coffee, so hopefully that is what we will provide, and a bit more. We aim to source as many ingredients locally as possible. Home baking is also the basis of our menu. We aim to provide a cosy atmosphere with good food and drink. We took over Aspull Domestics at the beginning of November and have been doing extensive refurbishments since. We are hoping to open our doors in January, but have no confirmed dates as yet.

🍂 Something new and scrumptious has arrived! 🍂

Autumn is here, and we’ve been busy creating some delicious new additions to our menu at Truly Scrumptious! 💙

Introducing our two brand new Club Sandwiches, both packed with flavour and freshly made to order.

🍎 The Orchard Club

Roast chicken, crispy bacon, melted Brie, thinly sliced apple, rocket, mustard mayonnaise, topped with hot honey all nestled between three layers of toasted farmhouse bread.

A delicious combination of sweet and savoury, with a lovely autumn twist!

🔥 The Fireside Club

Tender roast beef, mature cheddar, crispy bacon, caramelised red onion and horseradish mayonnaise, served warm between three layers of toasted bloomer.

Rich, hearty and the perfect comfort food for those cooler autumn days!

🍏 Apple & Brown Sugar Scone

And because no autumn menu would be complete without something sweet, we’ve added a homemade apple and brown sugar scone to our cake counter.

Perfect with a lovely hot coffee or a pot of tea!

Whether you’re popping in for lunch, meeting a friend for coffee or just fancying a little treat, we’ve got something new for you to enjoy.

Which one will you be trying first? 💙

🤍 A little wedding magic from Truly Scrumptious 🤍

We’ve been keeping very busy behind the scenes with our outside catering, and this beautiful wedding was one we absolutely loved being part of!

The happy couple wanted an afternoon tea vibe for their wedding breakfast, so we created a gorgeous spread of freshly prepared sandwiches, homemade savouries, cakes and sweet treats, all styled with beautiful florals and those extra little touches that make a day so special. 🌿

As the celebrations continued into the evening, we transformed the space into a dessert table filled with homemade brownies, blondies, cupcakes and plenty of sweet treats for the evening guests to enjoy.

And of course, we couldn’t resist sharing a little peek inside the wedding cake! Five beautiful layers of lemon sponge, buttercream and blueberry compote, all finished with delicate florals. 🎂

From the wedding cake to the afternoon tea and evening desserts, it was such a pleasure to bring everything together for this lovely couple.

A huge thank you for trusting us to be part of your special day. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness! 🤍

If you’re planning a wedding, celebration or special event, we’d love to help bring your ideas to life. Get in touch to chat about our bespoke outside catering and celebration cakes.

Love, the Truly Scrumptious team 💙
