This week has been a very busy one in our house — birthday biscuits for her classmates, a birthday pavlova (or “boo-meringue”🪃 as she calls it 😂), and there’s a birthday cake incoming for her party this weekend.

March is a special month in our house — it’s the birthday month of my eldest! 🎉

His 1st birthday cake was actually the very beginning of my Pudding Lane journey. He was the one I first started baking celebration cakes for, and all these years later his cakes are still some of the most special for me to make.

Looking back at the creations over the years is so much fun — seeing his interests change (and hopefully my baking skills improve along the way too!).
