This year, we’re all about celebrating the small wins. In and out of the bakery. And in an effort to do just that, here’s a look at what’s been happening in the bakery since the year began:
1&2 - we’ve been baking and delivering for our corporate clients. Amongst the buns were our sea salt dark choc chunk cookies! 🍪
3&4 - we’ve popped up at .dodge.club twice since the new year, both events being a total success 🥹! We got to debut/test some new flavours that we’ll be bringing to our home delivery menu from March (did someone say choc custard buns?). We also captured some organic taste test reactions of players/spectators trying our baked goods and the reactions were hilarious 🤭(more on that soon)!
5&6 - we had a bday cake order come in with only a prompt for the flavour - lemon. This basically gave us creative license to make this lemon cake filled with lemon buttercream & plum and ginger jam (my favourite jam they make!) and decorated with candied lemons 🍋🍋🍋. When it’s mango season again, expect to see a mango lemon iteration of this cake!
