Just a very very important note 📝

 ☀️ HOT WEATHER CAKE CARE ☀️

With the warmer weather this weekend, I just wanted to share a few important care tips to help keep your cake looking and tasting its best 🩷

Once cakes leave my hands, I can’t take responsibility for any damage caused by heat, transport or storage, so please make sure these instructions are followed carefully:

• If you’re collecting, please have your car air conditioning already on before you arrive so the car is nice and cool prior to collection
• Keep the air-con running throughout the whole journey no stopping at shops or running errands
• Cakes should travel flat on the passenger footwell and never on someone’s lap or seat
• Take your cake straight home or directly to the venue and refrigerate as soon as possible
• Please also make sure your venue has fridge space available if the cake needs storing
I can keep your cakes for as along as you need
• Remove cakes from the fridge around 30 minutes-1 hour before serving and place out of direct sunlight

All of my cakes are finished with buttercream, which can become soft very quickly in warm temperatures, so extra care is really important during hot weather 🌸

This doesn’t apply to cupcakes, just keep them in a shaded cool room.
