Happy Sunday everyone…

Today I’m introducing my 4th July American themed fudge box and who better to endorse it than Treorchy’s adopted American and Rhondda Rebel legend Missy Lender…

My first memory of Missy was back in 1994 as an 11 year old schoolgirl and with her impressive height of 6ft 2” I remember being completely overwhelmed and in awe by her stature and presence. Sadly I found that basketball wasn’t my game and our paths didn’t cross again until some years later where we met through mutual friends and I got to know her on a more personal level.

Under normal circumstances Missy would be back in her home state of Pennsylvania for the Summer, visiting her Mom and catching up with family and friends. She explains her typical 4th July consists of a family BBQ/cook out, sinking a few beers followed by a small firework display in the evening, all in all a fun filled day. Due to covid and travel restrictions this is the second year Missy has been unable to travel home and having heard this I thought I’d bring a little of the USA here to her in Treorchy with my American themed fudge box..

Reese’s, Hershey’s, Oreo and M&Ms, its a candy lovers dream, and I can confirm it’s had the Missy stamp of approval…
