Cake is art. And I believe we should never stop learning, exploring and pushing ourselves creatively.

That’s one of the reasons Cake Circle Azara K. & Jasmine Rae matters so much to me. It’s about supporting and uplifting cake makers while elevating our industry and encouraging the wider world to recognise cake for the incredible art form it is. And don’t forget, this art form is edible! Light sponge needs to defy gravity whilst looking and tasting amazing!

You may have seen me sharing Azara K. & Jasmine Rae events recently, and as someone whose work is so heavily inspired by nature, I’m particularly excited about Earthly Textures with .

This four-week virtual workshop explores the beautiful, organic finishes Jasmine first developed more than 15 years ago, inspired by stone, crystal, marble, strata and the textures of the natural world. Jasmine has said this is her “home base” cake finish now that “makes every cake look more mature” compared to traditional smooth white fondant.

The workshop is for fellow cake artists who want to refine their skills, learn techniques directly from an industry master and develop their own creative voice, whilst collectively helping to elevate our businesses and our industry.
