🧁💕 Double the birthdays, double the celebrations! 💙🧁

A joint birthday celebration for siblings Ada and Eli! 🎉

Ada turned 4 with pretty pastel pinks and purples, strawberries, ice creams and little flowers. 🍓🍦🌸

Eli turned 2 with cool blue shades, smiley faces, stars and a fun chequerboard design! 😎⭐

Two completely different themes, brought together for one special birthday celebration! 🥰

🎂🍅 CAKETOBER – DAY 19🍅🎂

Today’s choice is the angry tomato! 😂🍅

Sometimes the most random cake requests are the ones that stick in your mind, and this little fella definitely did!

A giant red tomato, complete with arms, legs and a face that looks like he’s really not happy about something! 😂

Definitely one of the more unusual cakes from over the years.

🎂🧽 CAKETOBER – DAY 18🧽🎂

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? 🍍😂

SpongeBob SquarePants!

I’ve made lots of character cakes over the years, but I loved making this one — especially because the whole cake became SpongeBob rather than just adding a model on top.

Bright, colourful and instantly recognisable! 💛

🎂🍫 A chocolate lover’s dream, made extra special! 🍫🎂

A two-tier 80th birthday cake from earlier in the week, finished with chocolate drips and lots of delicious chocolates! ❤️

🍫 Bottom tier – Chocolate sponge

🍋 Top tier – Lemon sponge

All finished off with a selection of chocolates supplied by my customer, adding those extra special finishing touches! 🥰

And to make it even better, I received such a lovely message afterwards! ❤️

It’s always so nice to hear that a cake has been enjoyed, and knowing they’ll be back for more really does mean a lot! 🥰

Happy 80th Birthday! 🎉🎂

🎂🐛 CAKETOBER – DAY 17 🐛🎂

Another one from the archives and one that still makes me smile!

This giant caterpillar cake was such a fun one to make — from his big cheeky face right down to all those little feet. 🐛💚

Definitely a little different from your usual caterpillar birthday cake! 😂

🎂💙 CAKETOBER – DAY 16 💙🎂

Another one from the Covid days…

This Snorlax cake was ordered by Edward’s mum for his 25th birthday. 🎉

Lockdown meant birthdays looked very different back then, so this one was delivered into York to make sure Edward still had a special cake for his big day. 💙

A reminder of some of the unusual circumstances cakes were made and delivered in during that time!

🎂🥊 CAKETOBER – DAY 15 🥊🎂

A cake with a little Covid story behind it!

This boxing glove was originally for a 40th birthday during Covid, when the big party they had planned sadly couldn’t happen.

So when they finally got to celebrate properly the following year, it became 40 + 1! 😂🥳

Definitely one from a very strange time that I’ll always remember.
