A lovely plain maderia cake baked yesterday evening for an order, lemon zest combined with the ingredients to give it an extra special taste. To say the least I can't wait to make more of these in the future 🙌

Just out of the oven is this delicious old Irish apple loaf cake filled with lots of apples and ground cloves to give it that extra kick. Served with warm or cold custard,cream or both whichever you prefer 🤤.
