Who remembers the days when our bakehouse was in quality square?1943 until 1993!(where The Bakehouse restaurant bar is now situated).here’s a link of two of our staff guiding the old bread truck that we used to ferry bread from Quality square,up the pavement to our shop in Castle Street!😍

A courgette with an identity crisis(thinks it’s a marrow)has appeared in the bakehouse garden!Grown in our old Victorian bread trough.Next week we will be making courgette and sultana tea loaf 😀
