Happy 60th to two very special humans (mum & dad!)

🧡🌺🌸🌼💛🌺🌸🌼🧡

Tier 1: Lemon & Elderflower cake filled with elderflower buttercream and homemade lemon curd

Tier 2: Banana Cake filled with caramel buttercream & salted caramel sauce

Tier 3: Traditional Victoria Sponge filled with vanilla buttercream & strawberry jam

Tier 4: Chocolate Orange cake filled with chocolate orange icing

Decoration: gorgeous flowers from pipers florist, artist pallet (for mum), golf clubs (for dad), 60th topper, disco balls, multi colour splodges, edible pearls

It’s safe to say that there was a lot of sweat, blood and tears over this cake but it has to be my all time favourite and well worth the 4 days standing over an oven!

285 jubilee cupcakes, 578 cheddar cheese bites and 250 crown shortbread biscuits later…

Had a very wholesome but stressful weekend baking to help mum out at the village street party! When I first signed up for it I thought it would only be a few but yes you read it right 285 cupcakes later!!!

Thank you to everyone that came and enjoyed the goodies and for all of your lovely comments!
