Howay man, you canna leave two Geordie m**s alone for a “quick” coffee, it’s physically impossible! 😂☕️ Within two minutes of walking into , mam and were besties, solving world peace and sharing 40 years of local gossip. Propa class.

Massive shoutout to and .brews for the lush hospitality! We’ve actually got some propa mint plans together while we were there, so watch this space... 👀🔥☕️.

Good morning! ☀️ It’s finally Friday, which means the weekend is just around the corner! 🙌 We are so incredibly grateful for all the love and support you show us week after week. The team has been working overtime to keep the counters stocked with all your favorites, and we’re already planning for a cracking Sunday! 🥐✨
But that’s not all... I took Mum on a very special outing to meet the Mum of the incredible coffee roasters, , along with her son .brews ! ☕️

We made it our mission to deliver goody bags today but navigating the Claremont Wing felt like a maze. Luckily, Mum’s celebrity status preceded her shoutout to Michael for the lovely ego boost in the car park!

Still pinching ourselves 🤯

Last week we got a call from the BBC, today they’re at Savour filming a feature on our journey, our bakery, and the incredible woman behind so much of it, my mum ❤️

What started as a dream has become something far bigger than we ever imagined. We are so grateful to our amazing team, loyal customers, and everyone who has supported us since day one.

Now, back to trying to act normal while cameras are pointed at us! 🎥🥐

🚨 Can we open our bakery in just 25 minutes?! 😳

At 7:20am we realised we had forgotten Sophie was off…

The counters were empty.
The doors opened at 8am.
And the setup normally takes TWO HOURS.

So there was only one thing for it…

📞 Call Mum.

Cue a sleepy Geordie mum, mild panic, a suspiciously timed toilet break, and two people trying to perform a bakery miracle before the customers arrived.

Did we pull it off? Wait until the end to see what was waiting outside the door… 👀🥐
