With the weather set to be warm this weekend coming, I am closing the Cake Shed until September.

I LOVE the hot weather but it’s a tad too warm to bake (attempted it over the weekend) plus the bakes may not be that stable in the Shed.

Also with the kids holidays just around the corner, I appreciate people may not be thinking of cake and more how to survive the 6 weeks!

If there is a quiet, cooler weekend then I might open so keep an eye on this page.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported me so far. I love making people happy through food!

Hey my sweaty little peeps!

I’ve made the sad decision to close this weekend 😔

I love the heat but it’s not fun to bake in and I am concerned about the quality of the bakes being left in a hot shed.

I appreciate it’s annoying but I want to ensure my treats are to the best standards I can give.

I am hoping to open next weekend but I will keep you all updated.

Happy Wednesday!

The Cake Shed is open this Friday from 10am with yummy treats.

I will do my best to rotate the treats in the fridge and use ice packs but obviously they might get a little warm in the shed. All the bakes will be fine in the warmth, the chocolate ones just might need a little bit of a chill before you tuck in!

Any pre orders welcomed as these can be bagged up in the bottom of the shed for when you are ready to collect and pay.

Hope to see lots of familiar faces and meet some new ones too

Hey peeps!

Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather.

I am back open again on Friday, wahoo but I will have to keep bakes rotated inside due to the warmer weather.

I’ll post the menu in the next few days and pre orders are welcomed as usual. A few of you have already got in there!

I have been missing baking and making the most of the warmth with trying some Biscoff cinnamon buns. These were made fresh today after a 4 hour drive from Cornwall after a beautiful wedding 😊

They are not the prettiest and I forget to take a photo of them all done (luckily the child did for me!) but would this be something that people might be interested in?

I know that there are some amazing local bakers that already do them so just seeing if there was an interest. I have only practiced Biscoff so far haha and to keep them the freshest, they would only be available on a Friday.

Hello hot and sweaty people!

With the weather getting a tad warmer, I won’t be opening the cake shed again this weekend as I would be too concerned that they would melt!

I also won’t be opening the weekend of Friday 3rd as we are at a wedding so fingers crossed we will be back on the 10th July!

What’s happened to the weather?

Yet let’s hope the hot weather is on the way as predicted.

With the hot weather forecasted and being Fathers Day, I am going to stay closed this weekend.

I’ll be back on Friday 26th with lots of ice packs to try and keep all the treats cool!

Thanks to you lot, we have another sell out!

I am so grateful of each and every one of you who popped by the Cake Shed for a little treat, it honestly means the world to me.

As we had a sell out, tomorrow the Shed will be shut but we will see you again from 10am next Friday!

Today the weather looks set to be sunny. Grab some yummy treats for your picnic and best to get in early due to the warm weather.

I have made the custard cream slice and brownies (GF/DF) as BOGOF as I’m not happy with the sizes.

Most of the other bakes all have a few left too.

Closing tonight at 8pm and will reopen again at 9.30 tomorrow.
