Advance warning from the Cake Shed!

There will be a Martin (aka my husband) takeover on Saturday 4th July while I take our daughter off to Cardiff to see Pitbull 🥳

The shed will still be open, but updates may be a little limited... or they may not. Who knows what he'll get up to? 🤷‍♀️ Either way, he's in charge for the day, so be kind to him!

Then, the following week (weekend of the 10th July), the Cake Shed will be closed.

Why, I hear you ask?

Because I'll be celebrating a rather significant birthday. 🎉

Yes, yes, I know... I don't look a day over 21. 😇 But somehow the big 4-0 has arrived!

They do say life begins at 40, don't they? We'll soon find out! 😂🎂

Sorry I was out driving just got back.... think I need to train Martin how to write posts 🤣 especially when he's on take over in July.
But yes the shed is now closed as I've completely sold out 😅

🌞 SATURDAY AT THE CAKE SHED 🌞

OPEN now until 7:30pm, or until the shelves are empty whichever comes first!

The shed is absolutely full to the brim 💚🩷

In fact, I think Saturday might be the new Friday! It seems to be getting busier every week, while Fridays have become a little more steady. I'm not complaining though, it's lovely to see so many of you stopping by.

Whether you're after a weekend treat, pudding for tonight, or just fancy a browse, there's plenty to choose from.

If you're making a special trip, do drop me a message to see what's left, especially if it's later in the day.

And a little reminder in this humid weather: if your treats survive the journey home without being eaten in the car (a big if for some of you! 😆), pop them in the fridge and let them come back to room temperature before enjoying. Sponges are happiest in a cool, dry place unless your house is particularly warm.
